Job SummaryWe are seeking a Cleanroom Semiconductor Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication environments. This role focuses on process execution, optimization, and yield improvement within a cleanroom setting, supporting the manufacture of advanced semiconductor photomasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, safety-conscious, and experienced working with complex equipment and tightly controlled processes. Key Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and optimize semiconductor fabrication processes in a Class 1–1000 cleanroom environmentSupport pellicle, resist strip and cleans processes (as applicable)Perform process characterization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to improve yield and reliabilityDevelop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructionsAnalyze SPC data and implement corrective actions to maintain process stabilityCollaborate with equipment engineers, process integration teams, and quality groupsSupport new process development, technology transfers, and scale-up activitiesEnsure compliance with safety, EHS, and cleanroom protocolsAssist in training technicians and junior engineers as neededLead new tool installations and qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in a semiconductor cleanroom or wafer fab environment preferredHands-on experience with at least one major fab process area (cleans, lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, diffusion, or metrology)Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows and cleanroom best practicesExperience with SPC, DOE, and basic statistical analysis (6 sigma Green Belt is a bonus)Ability to troubleshoot process and equipment-related issuesStrong documentation and technical communication skillsAbility to lead teams and manage projects, including new tool installs Preferred Qualifications Experience with 200 mm or 300 mm wafer manufacturingFamiliarity with SPC, FMEA, 8D, Model-Based Problem Solving and other 6 sigma toolsExperience working with automated fab systems and MES toolsKnowledge of yield enhancement and defect reduction methodologiesProficient in data analysis using tools such as JMP and Excel, with basic scripting or coding skills (VBA, JSL, Python, SQL).Experienced in tool qualification process.Experienced with change management and change control boards.Knowledge of chemical, plasma, UV, or megasonic cleaning a plus Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to work extended periods in a cleanroom environmentWillingness to wear full cleanroom gowning (bunny suit)Ability to work flexible hours or on-call support as needed for production schedules
