Facilities Service Technician

LaneStaffing is seeking an experienced Facilities Service Technician to support building operations in Houston. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting skills and commercial facilities experience.The Facilities Service Technician performs intermediate-level work in the installation, maintenance, and service of building operating systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Respond to and troubleshoot facility work orders Perform preventive maintenance and repairs Complete general facility maintenance including: Painting & patching Carpentry & fixtures Caulking & flooring Locksmith services Assist other technicians as needed Monitor and log readings from critical equipment Diagnose system faults and take corrective action Use required PPE and standard tools Escalate complex issues appropriately Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 4 years of facilities operations experience Valid Texas Driver License Must meet driving insurance eligibility requirements Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently Comfortable working from elevated heights Able to lift up to 80 pounds Basic computer proficiency Additional InformationOnly applicants meeting the required experience will be considered.Qualified candidates will be subject to: Background screening Driving record verification Drug testing
