Ledcor is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee our daily construction activities. This crucial role guarantees that projects are completed on time, within budget, and uphold the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will execute project strategies, ensure site safety, uphold quality control, and manage the contributions of field staff, contractors, and tradespeople. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all projects comply with approved designs, specifications, and building codes. Manage and monitor quality testing requirements and ensure adherence to the Project Quality Plan (PQP). Verify that safety protocols surpass corporate and regulatory standards. Facilitate project safety meetings and contribute to creating the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP). Oversee construction timelines to ensure milestones and completion goals are achieved. Estimate activity durations and material requirements for multi-discipline tasks. Guide field staff and coordinate resources to fulfill project goals. Supervise craft workers and subcontractors to ensure safety, adherence to schedule, and quality standards. Prepare purchasing requests and evaluate invoices from subcontractors/suppliers. Qualifications: 2 to 5 years of construction experience in a supervisory role such as a foreman or lead hand. Familiarity with underground fiber installation methods, including Plow and Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD), is advantageous. A two-year college, technical, or trades diploma is preferred. Understanding of current construction practices, project documentation, budgets, and costs. Ability to plan and manage project timelines, developing solutions for moderate situations within established guidelines. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and manage a varied team. Strong organizational and planning abilities. Working Conditions: Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, which may include sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and working in various weather conditions. This is a site-based role requiring travel 100% of the time.
