As an RN, you will oversee the cardiovascular services department's strategic planning, operational management, and quality improvement initiatives. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Provide leadership and direction for the Cardiovascular Services department, including the Cath lab, cardiology, cardiac surgery, and cardiac rehab units. Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed. Develop and manage the department's budget, including capital expenditures, staffing, and supply costs. Identify market trends and opportunities, developing strategies to enhance the hospital's competitive position in cardiovascular care. Maintain and improve departmental accreditation status through continuous assessment and adherence to quality standards. Candidate requirements BSN and master's degree in nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of nursing experience in cardiovascular services, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (e.g., CVRN, PCCN, CCRN) is preferred. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Why work with us?
