Assist in change negotiations alongside PMs and DMs, contributing to outcomes that safeguard both project and organizational interests. Prepare for claims defense by gathering documentation and supporting project teams and legal partners in potential claim preparations. Minimize contractual ambiguity through thorough contract document reviews, identifying potential conflicts that may impact project execution. Drive proactive risk management by identifying project risks and crafting mitigation strategies, while overseeing project risk registers to limit exposure. Monitor and manage potential claims by analyzing issue logs and staying updated on developments that may have contractual or financial impacts. Ensure contractual compliance by confirming all necessary insurances, representations, and certifications are appropriately maintained. Support timely project delivery by tracking schedules for milestones, deliverables, and necessary notices to fulfill obligations. Facilitate effective contract administration through organized documentation and precise record-keeping of all contractual matters. Resolve invoicing and payment issues by collaborating with Accounts Payable involving clients, subconsultants, and suppliers. Lead successful contract closeout processes, assisting PMs and DMs in finalizing DSA and Prime Contract closeout requirements before final payment. Provide essential contractual insights to project controls by advising on financial and contractual repercussions of change orders and project modifications. Enhance organizational capability by delivering training on contract awareness and change orders to key project staff, thereby improving contract literacy and risk awareness.
