Responsive recruiter Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance About the Role We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented HR & Recruiting Coordinator to support recruiting, workforce operations, and payroll preparation for our hourly and operational teams. This hands-on, execution-focused role is ideal for someone who enjoysrecruiting,managing multiple priorities, maintaining operational accuracy, and ensuring payroll inputs are prepared correctly and on time. The role plays a critical part in keeping hiring pipelines moving, employee data organized, and payroll documentation audit-ready. It also includes light accounting support, such as reviewing daily data checks for accuracy to ensure payroll and operational records are correct. This position works closely with the HR Manager to execute established processes, support employee onboarding, and maintain smooth workforce operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities Recruiting and Staffing Manage job postings, screen resumes, and conduct initial virtual candidate screenings Present qualified candidates to hiring managers following the recruitment process Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers Coordinate assessments and conduct reference checks Maintain accurate candidate records and timely communication Maintain candidate tracking and provide pipelines updates to the HR Manager Support offer letters and background check for new hires Onboarding and Offboarding Administer onboarding for new employees, including new hire packets, onboarding sessions, and introduction communications Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time Support offboarding processes to ensure smooth employee transitions Benefit Administration Support Support administration of employee benefits programs, including new hire enrollment, changes and open enrollment coordination Policies, Procedures and Compliance Maintain HR documents, including employee handbooks, policies, procedures and SOPs Support compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations HR Operations Maintain employee records and HR systems Track and manage PTO and time & attendance issues, including missed punches, and corrections Respond to routine employee HR questions Support compliance documentation and audits Escalate sensitive or complex issues appropriately Payroll Preparation & Light Accounting Support Collect, organize and prepare payroll data (hours, pay rates, overtime, revenue-sharing inputs) for HR Manager and accounting review Review daily data for completeness and flag discrepancies for review (timesheets, scorecards, etc.) Employee Relations Serve as a point of contact for routine employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures Support internal communications and coordinate employee engagement activities as directed and approved by the HR Manager Coordinate employee events and recognition initiatives, including monthly lunches, bi-annual employee gatherings, and annual employee milestones (e.g. birthdays and work anniversaries) Qualifications 3-5 years experience in HR coordination, recruiting, and payroll preparation Experience recruiting hourly or operational roles is required Experience preparing payroll inputs Comfortable working with ATS and payroll systems Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy Excellent organization, prioritization and follow-up skills Clear, professional communicator able to manage multiple priorities Skills Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet, Drive) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Knowledge of HR best practices Knowledge of payroll processing (a plus) Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Schedule Full-time position, 40 hours per week In-office role, Monday through Friday Core working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Classification: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt Occasional additional hours may be required during peak recruiting or payroll periods Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $25 per hour Eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) plan, subject to plan terms Benefits eligibility per company guidelines Compensation: $25.00 per hour Looking to start a career in the fast-paced world of sports memorabilia?
