DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position is responsible for clerical and technical work involving the scheduling, coordination, and support of transportation services for the Wayne County Transportation System. Work includes preparing driver manifests, maintaining consumer and trip data, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and supporting daily operations. Duties are performed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and County policies, under the supervision of the Transportation Director and/or Operations Manager. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. May have irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. Some travel in and out county for meetings. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerk 2, and education development to the level of high school; or One year of progressively complex clerical experience and completion of high school; or Six months of moderately complex clerical experience and completion of a post high school business curriculum; or Any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledges and abilities. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
