job summary: A Packaging Technician is needed for an American life science and clinical research company in the Ridgefield, NJ area. This role requires experience to perform manual visual inspection and packaging of medical syringes while ensuring strict cGMP compliance and meticulous batch record documentation. location: Ridgefield, New Jersey job type: Contract salary: $24 - 30 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Perform manual visual inspection of pre-filled syringes (hyaluronic acid and pharmaceutical products) to identify and report failures. Maintain accurate, real-time batch production records and logs in strict compliance with FDA and cGMP regulations. Conduct material reconciliation for syringes and components used during the inspection and packaging stages. Operate and troubleshoot semi-automated packaging equipment in a fast-paced production line environment. Execute daily and monthly cleaning and sanitation of production areas to maintain required sterility and safety standards. Confirm the accuracy of staged components and assist with equipment changeovers alongside mechanics. Perform daily safety walkthroughs and assist management with the documentation of non-conformances. Utilize computer systems for data entry, reporting, and completing mandatory compliance training. Collaborate with line leaders and team members to achieve daily quality, safety, and efficiency targets. Skills: Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Must be able to work effectively in a team-based and fast-paced environment. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices - 3 years. Knowledge of Production Inspection Process - 3 years. Knowledge of Manufacturing Packaging Process - 3 years. Ability to quickly learn new processes. Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
