American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient hand therapy position in Oregon, requiring 1-2 years of experience and Epic proficiency. Job Details • Outpatient OT setting at a hospital in Salem, Oregon, • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM), • Caseload focused on outpatient hand therapy, including post-operative hand surgery patients, • Splinting services are a routine part of the caseload, • Epic EMR - experience is required with no exceptions, • Floating may be required to a nearby sister hospital approximately 15 minutes away, Job Requirements • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program with a BS, MS, or Doctorate in OT, or NBCOT certification, • Active Oregon OT license required - no pending licensure accepted, • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical OT experience required, • Outpatient hand therapy experience required, • Experience with post-op hand surgeries and splinting required, • BLS certification from the AHA required, • Epic EMR experience required - no exceptions, • CHT certification preferred, • COVID vaccination required - no exemptions, • License required if applicable, Additional Information • Responsibilities include patient evaluation and development and follow-through of individualized treatment plans, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • Local candidates are accepted at the same rates - no radius restriction, • All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized prior to submission and cannot be modified afterward; additional RTO requests after submission may result in removal from consideration or contract cancellation, • Former permanent employees of Salem Health must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler, • Completion of non-billable facility modules (up to 8 hours) is required prior to start and annually thereafter, • Refusing to float when required may result in contract cancellation,
