Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Permanent PositionLocation: Denver, CO 80247 Assignment Duration: Permanent Open to Local & Travel Candidates Position Highlights: Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours/week Pay Rate: $30.92- $32.96 per hour Responsibilities: Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist. Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activities with patients. Educate patients and families on exercise programs and home safety. Record accurate and timely patient progress notes and documentation. Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to adjust treatment as needed. Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and maintained. Participate in team meetings and patient care conferences. Comply with all state and federal regulations and facility policies. Requirements: Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). Previous experience as a PTA (preferred, but not always required). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
