The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in supporting the care of our patients by performing proper and safe maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the building and its surfaces, both interior and exterior. Competitive Pay $18.00-$20.00 per hour (based on experience) Shift differentials Same Day Pay for all employees Full-Time Benefits Package PTO: 80 hours vacation + 40 hours sick time (rollover available) Personal Days 7 Paid Major Holidays (Double time when worked) CareFirst Medical Insurance Tuition Assistance HRA Fund Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employee Perks & Rewards Employee discounts Earn points, earn rewards program Attendance incentives Referral bonus program Professional development and career advancement opportunities ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do: Complete work and repair orders accurately and in a timely manner Perform routine preventive maintenance inside and outside the facility Oversee work performed by outside contractors as needed Apply carpentry skills when necessary (preferred) Use maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively Troubleshoot and perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks Demonstrate strong HVAC knowledge or hold relevant certification Handle physically demanding tasks as required Bring previous maintenance or related experience to support daily operations QualificationsFull-Time Schedule: 7:30a-3:30p- on-call weekend rotation required Must be 18 years or older Located in the heart of Columbia, Maryland, Lorien Harmony Hall is a family-owned assisted living community with a long-standing tradition of compassionate care.
