Licensed Practical Nurse (PRN Role)Location: Norwalk, CT, 06851 Employment Type: PRN Pay Rate: $30 - $34 per hour; (Negotiable based on experience) Shifts Available: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in a PRN (as-needed) capacity. As an LPN, you will provide quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians, ensuring the highest standard of patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with daily activities. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the supervising RN or physician. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients at all times. Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families. Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and standards of practice. Assist in patient education and counseling regarding health and wellness. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards. Required Qualifications: Current and valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut. CPR/BLS certification (required). Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
