Periodic office meetings are required. Must have reliable transportation. Current driver's license and agency-required liability insurance are necessary. Average number of patients per day: 5-6. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Each visit and activity such as documentation and travel holds a different point value. A total of 30 productivity points are expected per week. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow Up visits. No first-time home health travelers will be accepted. Weekend requirements vary per location and should be discussed during the interview. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Travelers are compensated for distances traveled between patient homes. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Pending licenses are not accepted unless there is a delay in obtaining them. No on-call duties are required. Travelers must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase EMR and have used it within the last 6 months or complete a retraining course. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment. Delays or incomplete documentation that affect billing and patient care will result in cancellations. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. Clinicians must meet weekly productivity expectations of 30 points, equivalent to 40 hours per week. If there are not enough patients each week, clinicians will have the option to float to another clinic for additional hours.
