Position Type: Support Staff/Educational Assistant Date Posted: 3/12/2025 Location: Alton Central School Date Available: immediate Closing Date: as soon as filled ALTON CENTRAL SCHOOL Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Alton Central School is looking for dedicated and compassionate behavior technicians to join our team. This is a school year position that may include limited summer hours. This position provides instructional, behavior and other support to students with disabilities both in and out of the classroom in a one on one setting or with students in small groups. RBT responsibilities are as follows but not limited to: Understand and is able to apply the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proactive problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to provide effective and thoughtful support to all levels of the school. Strong documentation and/or technical writing skills. Job Requirements: Associates Degree or equivalent relevant coursework preferred. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is required.
