Join our team as a Fiber Construction Inspector II and play a key role in ensuring high-quality fiber optic infrastructure that powers homes, businesses, and communities. What You'll Do As a Fiber Construction Inspector II, you'll be responsible for overseeing and inspecting fiber optic construction projects to ensure they meet technical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Your day-to-day will include: Monitoring fiber placement activities, including both underground and aerial installations Conducting site inspections to verify proper construction techniques and adherence to design plans Collaborating with contractors and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain timelines Documenting progress, identifying deficiencies, and recommending corrective actions Supporting fiber splicing and testing operations (preferred but not required) What We're Looking For We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in fiber construction and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ideal candidates will bring: Moderate technical knowledge of fiber optic construction methods and materials Familiarity with underground and overhead fiber placement techniques Preferred experience in fiber splicing and testing (OTDR, power meter, etc.) Approximately 5 years of hands-on experience in fiber construction or related field Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in the field Why This Role Matters Fiber Construction Inspectors are the eyes and ears of our build teams.
