As a Plant Operator, you'll play a vital role in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing the hospital's mechanical systems and equipment-ensuring a comfortable, reliable, and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Job DetailsKey Responsibilities: Inspect, operate, and repair hospital, clinical, kitchen, and office equipment to ensure proper performance and safety. Diagnose and repair system malfunctions for boilers, water heaters, pumps, valves, and related mechanical systems. Adjust and maintain steam, water, and combustion systems to meet operational standards. Test and treat boiler water, maintaining accurate chemical and maintenance records. Perform plumbing system repairs, including steam, water, and gas lines. Document maintenance work and submit repair procedures for major issues to the Plant Operations Foreman. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
