Relocation assistance is provided to the qualified candidate! Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. We are looking for a highly visible and engaged HR Generalist to support our manufacturing operations. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional who thrives on the production floor, building strong relationships with employees and leaders. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and payroll support. Responsibilities: Employee & Leadership Support: Be a visible and approachable presence on the production floor, guiding employees and supervisors on a variety of HR-related topics. Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead the entire recruitment process for both hourly and salaried roles, from creating job postings and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and extending job offers. Onboarding: Deliver a comprehensive and engaging onboarding experience that ensures new hires are set up for success from day one. Performance Management: Coach and support leaders on performance management, employee engagement, and effective communication. Compliance & Policy: Ensure the company's compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and EEO regulations. Payroll & Timekeeping: Provide support for payroll processing, timekeeping, and attendance tracking to ensure accuracy. Safety & Culture: Partner with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and plant leadership to promote a strong safety-first culture and drive employee engagement through various initiatives. Required Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a strong preference for a background in a manufacturing or industrial setting. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Skills: Strong knowledge of HR laws and compliance standards. Experience with HRIS systems (Workday experience is a plus). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work across multiple shifts and be present on the production floor. A positive, approachable personality with the ability to lead with influence.
