Job Description The Planning & Operations Manager oversees the intake, prioritization, and strategic planning of all real estate projects within the Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) group. This role acts as the central hub for project requests, ensuring alignment with business priorities, capacity, and organizational strategy. The manager maintains the master project roadmap, proactively communicates updates, and fosters alignment across internal teams and external partners. The role is also responsible for collecting and integrating key project data from stakeholders to ensure the roadmap is comprehensive, accurate, and supports effective decision-making. How You'll Spend Your TimeYou will oversee and optimize intake and triage of real estate project requests to ensure effective prioritization aligned with business goals and capacity. You will own and maintain the CRES master project roadmap, providing clear and actionable visibility to leadership and stakeholders. You will continuously monitor pipeline capacity, identify delivery risks, and recommend strategic adjustments to manage constraints and timelines. You will lead prioritization and issue resolution by surfacing dependencies, facilitating structured decision-making, and escalating when needed. You will partner with construction, leasing, and transactions teams to validate planning data and ensure accurate sequencing across the roadmap. You will create visual tools and dashboards that clearly communicate roadmap status, capacity, and priorities to stakeholders. You will establish consistent documentation and governance practices for intake decisions, roadmap updates, and compliance. You will drive transparent communication, cross-functional alignment, and continuous improvement across intake, planning, and change management processes. Education & Experience Requirements This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, project intake, or real estate operations, or 5+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage transparently and build alignment across diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with experience in capacity planning and intake workflow management. Proficiency in developing and presenting visual project roadmaps and dashboards using tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management and data visualization platforms. Strong data collection, organization, and synthesis skills, with the ability to gather, validate, and integrate information from multiple sources and stakeholders. Detail-oriented approach to tracking project metrics and timelines, ensuring all roadmap data is current and actionable. Ability to influence without direct authority and drive cross-functional collaboration. Advanced PC application skills including MS Office Suite. Forward-thinking, proactive, and initiative-driven approach to problem-solving and planning.
