Data Integration Engineer

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Tampa, Florida. Duties: Develop BI dashboards and self-service reporting tools using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Streamlit Partner with data engineering teams to ensure clean, accessible, and well-structured datasets Align BI development efforts with strategic initiatives and KPIs Troubleshoot complex data issues, including inconsistencies, gaps, and transformation logic Optimize SQL queries, Python code, and data models for performance Automate manual reporting tasks and improve data workflows Gather and translate reporting requirements into scalable BI solutions Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences Provide training and support on BI tools and dashboards Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data models Ensure adherence to data governance, integrity, and compliance standards Desired Skills/Experience: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools Knowledge of data modeling techniques and ETL processes Ability to work with large datasets and perform root-cause analysis Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify trends and anomalies Experience with cloud data platforms such as: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric preferred Familiarity with scripting languages such as: Python and R for data manipulation or automation Ability to interpret business processes and define meaningful KPIs Strong communication skills for translating business goals into data visualizations and insights Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position is between $42.00 and $60.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
