Occupational Therapist OT

Position Summary The Occupational Therapist screens, evaluates and treats patients/residents, documents services and communicates with families and interdisciplinary team members while facilitating optimization of patient/resident participation in activities of daily living. Full-time benefits start on the first day of the month following your start date! Posted Salary Range USD $55.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr. Wage Commensuration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide professional Occupational Therapy services. Completes documentation accurately and timely. Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives. Works efficiently and effectively whole utilizing facility resources responsibly. Complies with all facility policies and procedures. Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants, therapy aides and therapy students as needed. Qualifications & RequirementsMust be a graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy. Must have one year experience as an Occupational Therapist (geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred) Must have current license to practice Occupational Therapy in facility-specific state Must have current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
