OSP Engineer I, II

OSP Engineer I, II We're hiring an Outside Plant (OSP) Engineer who will be responsible for all aspects of network route engineering, including aerial and underground route design, construction permitting, drafting, relocations and as-built documentation. MWFN is looking for a level I or II engineer, based on experience. What You'll Do: Engineer aerial, underground and inside plant facilities Prepare clear, complete and accurate construction plans and final working drawings using computer-aided design (CAD), with sufficient details from rough sketches and field notes Consult with senior engineers regarding design and drafting standards Maintain a high level of productivity, assuring time frames are met Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment and other software to complete final working drawings Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of Engineering or five years of related experience Associate degree in Drafting/Computer-Aided Design in preferred Technical knowledge of in industry, construction practices and local governing authority rules for placement of telecommunication facilities Prior experience/knowledge in a telecommunications/cable environment is preferred Experience with GIS and ESRI software Experience with AutoCAD Valid driver's license and must be insurable Location: Temporarily based in Wauwatosa, WI (moving to Glendale, WI upon completion of renovations). This role will be in an in-person office setting.
