Maintenance Technician Expert

Job Description: Install new mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and repair or convert existing equipment for new uses. Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and electronic power drives and control systems on heavy mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting activities. Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and components across CNC and manual machinery, with strong emphasis on Mazak equipment. Work with control systems including Mazatrol, Mitsubishi, Siemens Control, Mori Seiki, QEM, Nagel TBT, and related platforms. Schedule and perform maintenance on all Client and manual equipment independently and without supervision. Schedule and perform repairs on Client and manual equipment including multi-axis lathes and mills. Perform preventive maintenance using written instructions and standardized checklists. ssist with installation of new mechanical and electrical equipment. Maintain equipment according to established procedures and report any problems or deviations. Use appropriate hand tools and automated or semi-automated equipment safely and effectively. Train other team members in functional areas and prepare detailed maintenance activity reports. Create preventive maintenance checklists for operator use. Participate in pre-job and toolbox meetings with crew members. Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies and wear required personal protective equipment at all times. Complete required safety training related to equipment operation, electrical safety, emergency response, fire safety, first aid, PPE, risk reporting, IT security, and hazardous materials. Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs. Requirement/Must Have: Strong experience maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Hands-on expertise with Mazak equipment. bility to independently schedule and execute maintenance and repair activities. Strong troubleshooting capabilities across multiple system types. Experience: Five to ten years of experience as a maintenance technician. Hands-on experience supporting CNC and manual manufacturing equipment. Previous experience as a Mazak field technician is highly preferred. Responsibilities: Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs. Support equipment installation and upgrades. Document maintenance activities and communicate requirements to management. Train team members and support operational readiness. Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures. Skills: Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting. CNC machine maintenance and repair. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer proficiency including Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Teams. Forklift and scissor lift operation experience preferred. Familiarity with SAP and lockout and tagout systems is a plus. Fine electronics and soldering experience is a plus. Qualification And Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
