Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee commercial and/or industrial projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with codes and specifications. Responsibilities:  Project Ownership: Manage all aspects of assigned projects (safety, schedule, cost, quality, client satisfaction) from NTP through closeout. Financial Stewardship: Own project forecasting, cost analysis, and margin protection. Ensure buyouts, budgets, and CTC/CAC reviews are accurate and timely. Scheduling & Planning: Build, update, and manage schedules; lead recovery plans and manpower forecasts tied to deliverables. Change Management: Identify, price, submit, and track change orders within 5 business days; maintain CO log with Safety Management: Enforce site-specific safety plans, hold weekly JSAs, lead jobsite audits, and ensure corrective action closures within 5 business days. Talent Recruitment & Retention: Proactively source, recruit, and retain strong field leaders; mentor APMs and foremen through structured development conversations. People Development: Create written development plans for at least one direct report, with measurable growth in capability and responsibility. Backlog & Business Development Support: Represent Veracity well in front of clients; convert successful execution into repeat work, relationships, and referrals. Reporting & Rhythm: Maintain weekly control meetings (safety → schedule → cost → COs → risk); participate in monthly Texas ops rhythm. Qualifications 3+ years of project management experience in construction or electrical work Strong understanding of construction workflows and jobsite operations Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical plans Experience managing schedules, budgets, and crews Proficiency with project management and estimating software Preferred Electrical background or licensed electrician experience PMP or construction-related certifications Experience with commercial or industrial projects Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off and holidays Company vehicle or allowance (if applicable) Growth and advancement opportunities
