Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Title: CT Technologist Location: Portland, OR 97225 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night – 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00) Job Responsibilities • Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols • Provide imaging services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients • Operate CT equipment including Client, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems • Ensure accurate patient identification and verify imaging orders prior to procedures • Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol • Start peripheral IVs as required for contrast-enhanced studies • Maintain patient safety, monitoring condition throughout procedures • Follow isolation precautions and appropriate PPE guidelines • Accurately document procedures and patient information in Epic • Collaborate with radiologists, IV teams, transportation, and interdisciplinary staff • Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions as needed • Provide care across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Float within hospital or affiliated facilities as required • Work required weekend shifts and holidays per contract Required Skills & Experience • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience • Experience in acute care setting preferred • Experience in teaching or community hospital preferred • Strong competency in abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging (with and without contrast) • Ability to manage a 1:1 patient ratio • Proficiency with Epic charting system (required) • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced night shift environment • Must have reliable transportation for assignment Required Certifications & Licensure • ARRT (R) – Required • BLS – Required • Oregon state license (may submit pending if applicable) HonorVet Technologies Job ID #31867697.
