Job Position: Production Technician Location: Woodridge,IL60517 Pay Rate: $19.00/hr Shift: 3rd Shift Description: Job Title: Production Technician Shift Hours: 6 pm - 6:30 am, Rotating shift schedule Report to: Philip Pay rate: $19.00/Hr, Performance to Hire TTR Office #: 815.886.2300 - text friendly The Production Technician is responsible for the setup, functionality and troubleshooting of packaging equipment while ensuring production goals and quality standards are met. Primary Duties: 1. Ensure necessary equipment/tools are present upon start of shift 2. Operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment 3. Perform quality checks at specified intervals to ensure product quality 4. Fill out production logs to document the day's activities 5. Cleaning and sanitizing packaging equipment 6. Perform weekly preventative maintenance on packaging equipment 7. Set-up packaging equipment and perform changeovers for various products 8. Continuously monitor the performance of packaging equipment 9. Abide by safety standards and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices 10. Other duties as assigned by Line Leader 11. It is the operator's responsibility to report any food safety and food quality issues to personnel with authority to initiate action Physical Conditions: Based in a manufacturing environment and entails long periods of standing and bending. Must be able to lift fifty pounds repetitively.
