Title .Net Analyst (Must be a US Citizen) Location Hybrid (work out of Pittsburgh PA, Gary/Portage) IN Type Contract to Hire Pay $55.50 per hour ona W2 Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Business Solution Analyst Programmer the Enterprise Manufacturing Solutions Team. This role will initially focus on hands-on development tasks to gain a deep understanding of our current architecture, design patterns, and development processes. Over a short period of time, responsibilities will evolve to include working with internal stakeholders to define project scopes, estimate efforts, create technical specifications, and lead end-to-end project execution in partnership with offshore development teams. This position is critical to supporting newly announced capital investment initiatives and our broader strategy to modernize core systems by migrating them off the mainframe. Location: Hybrid - Must be able to work out of Pittsburgh, PA or Gary/Portage, IN. There is a requirement to be onsite as needed to one of the locations. Key Responsibilities: • Contribute to application development to build familiarity with Enterprise Manufacturing Solutions Team architecture and practices • Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to define and evaluate new project opportunities • Estimate project scope, effort, and resource requirements • Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for offshore development teams • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily scrums and sprint reviews • Oversee development progress and ensure timely delivery of features • Coordinate system testing efforts between technical teams and end users • Train Run Support teams and ensure readiness for post-GoLive support Minimum Qualifications: • 3+ years of hands-on experience with .Net Core / .Net Framework development • 3+ years working with Oracle databases or NoSQL databases • 2+ year of experience in software architecture and solution design Preferred Qualifications: • Steel or metals industry experience with a focus on IT solutions that support the manufacturing process. • Working experience in creating API integrations, MQTT, and UNS technologies • Ability to work effectively with offshore development teams • Experience with Kafka for real-time and batch integration (RDBMS Connector, JMS, REST, File, Schema Registry) • Working knowledge of containerization and Azure DevOps • Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio, VS Code, Toad, SQL Developer • Experience developing web-based and batch processing applications • Knowledge of RESTful web services and system integrations • Understanding of document databases such as Redis or MongoDB Professional Skills: • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Self-driven with a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach Reason for Opening: This position is being added to increase technical depth on the Enterprise Manufacturing Solutions Team in response to new capital investment projects and to accelerate the modernization of legacy systems, specifically the migration away from mainframe technologies.
