Job Title: Project Manager - Banking & Financial Integration Duration: Long Term Location: Brentwood, TN (Local candidates only) Job Description: Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Project Manager (PMP) with proven experience in banking and financial systems integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading complex integration projects across core banking, payment gateways, treasury systems, compliance solutions, and third-party financial platforms. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to deliver large-scale financial technology initiatives on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Governance Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with business goals. Establish governance models, risk management plans, and communication protocols. Ensure compliance with PMP methodologies, internal policies, and financial industry standards. Banking & Financial Integration Lead the integration of core banking platforms, payment systems, treasury solutions, ERP, and fintech APIs. Oversee migration and modernization of legacy financial systems with minimal business disruption. Manage integration with regulatory/compliance systems (AML, KYC, SWIFT, PCI DSS). Stakeholder & Vendor Management Partner with banking executives, technology teams, and compliance officers to align on priorities. Manage vendor relationships with third-party solution providers, system integrators, and SaaS partners. Facilitate clear communication across business, operations, and IT stakeholders. Execution & Delivery Lead cross-functional teams across onshore/offshore models. Track progress with KPIs, milestone dashboards, and executive reporting. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; implement mitigation plans. Change & Quality Management Implement structured change management to ensure adoption across business units. Drive UAT, SIT, and performance testing strategies for integrated financial systems. Deliver projects with a strong focus on security, compliance, and operational resilience. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. Certification: PMP certification (mandatory); Agile/Scrum certification preferred. Experience: 8-12 years of total experience in project management, with 5+ years in banking/financial services integration. Hands-on experience managing core banking integrations, payment gateway/API projects, ERP-Financials, and compliance systems. Proven track record of delivering multi-million-dollar financial technology projects in regulated environments. Skills: Strong knowledge of banking processes (payments, lending, treasury, compliance). Familiarity with financial integration technologies (SWIFT, ISO 20022, Open Banking APIs, middleware, data lakes). Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Expertise in project tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.).
