In this role, you will support project engineers in the design and documentation of a wide range of low-rise commercial building projects, utilizing both AutoCAD and Revit. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about structural design and thrives in a collaborative, technically focused environment.Key Responsibilities Assist project engineers in the development of structural plans and technical drawings using AutoCAD and RevitPrepare detailed construction documentation including layouts, sketches, sections, and diagramsApply knowledge of design, construction methods, materials, and building codes to drafting workAddress redline markups and coordination comments under the direction of senior engineering staffCoordinate structural details with architectural plans and project requirementsPrepare basic structural computations, material quantity estimates, and technical specifications as neededEnsure drawing packages are accurate, complete, and delivered on scheduleCollaborate with internal team members and interact professionally with clients and project stakeholders Qualifications Associate degree in Drafting, or Technical Diploma in a related field (preferred)Minimum 2+ years of experience in structural drafting, preferably on commercial projectsProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is requiredStrong understanding of commercial construction principles and structural systemsHighly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and within a project teamExcellent communication skills with a professional demeanorAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision About the CompanyFounded in 1986, we are a trusted structural engineering firm specializing in the design of low-rise, non-residential buildings across the region.
