Role: Health Economics Specialist Location: Providence, RI- Hybrid Duration: 5 Months contract with possibility of extensions. Hours/Week: 35 The primary responsibility of the role is to oversee, develop, and maintain the Statewide Health Inventory Report. Responsibilities Participate in weekly Statewide Health Inventory meetings. Provide guidance to agency staff and interns working on the project. Engage with stakeholders to gather meaningful feedback. Assist in the distribution of surveys to healthcare practices across the state. Clean and analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Draft the Statewide Health Inventory Report and document findings. Perform related tasks as required to support the success of the project. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members. Proficiency in computer applications and data management. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Preferred: Master's degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration, Hospital Administration, Health Policy, Health Planning, or a closely related field. Experience in a responsible position within a public or private agency administering medical care programs, or in an administrative or consultative role in public health, health grants management, hospital administration, health planning, or health statistics. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
