This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, working in a team environment, and building strong relationships with customers across a variety of industries. On the job training is provided.The Field Technician will install, service, and troubleshoot mobile video systems, two-way radios, and other in-building technology solutions. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and a willingness to learn and grow. Candidates with military experience or backgrounds in security systems, low-voltage wiring, car audio, vehicle upfitting, or two-way radio work are encouraged to apply.ResponsibilitiesReport to work prepared and on time, adhering to daily schedulesSafely operate and maintain a company vehicle, tools, and equipmentInstall, troubleshoot, and service mobile video, two-way radio, and related systemsPerform all work in a safe and professional mannerOccasionally work at heights using ladders or liftsMeet with customers to review installation options and project detailsCommunicate clearly with customers and coworkers regarding project statusComplete work within reasonable timeframesAccurately complete service documentationAssist with inventory managementQualificationsPositive, professional attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and ability to follow directionValid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)High school diploma or equivalentMechanical aptitude with proficiency using power toolsWillingness to travel within Ohio (paid drive time in a company vehicle during work hours)Pride in quality workmanshipAbility and willingness to learn new equipment and techniquesOwnership of basic hand tools (specialty tools provided)
