Facility Mechanic I

Facility Mechanic IAlcon is looking to hire a Facility Mechanic I to join our Technician Manufacturing Team at Houston Texas in US.You will be responsible for maintaining the facility infrastructure and critical systems to support our production environments.Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair machines and equipment Perform Preventive Maintenance (evaluate, modify, originate - PMs) Support Facilities Group activities (Shutdowns, capital projects, continuous improvements, PIT teams) Document work accurately per company and regulatory policies (within Maximo, on test scripts/protocols, etc.) Communicate clearly, effectively, professionally with other team members, production personnel, and outside contractors/suppliers. Comply with all safety, environmental and cGMP requirements. Ensure the quality and environmentally compliant operation of the plant critical utilities to include but not limited to the DI/Purified water system, the clean compressed air system, boilers, chillers, and the HVAC systems. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 2 Years of Relevant Experience Work hours: 2nd Shift (8 hours) Thursday-Monday, 1:00p.m. - 9:30p.m. Travel Requirements: 0 to 10% Relocation assistance: No Sponsorship available: No
