Position Title RN Med Surg- Sanford, FL Position Description Facility Name: HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital Position: Med-Surg RN Available Shifts: • Days (Rotating Weekends): URGENT NEED HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute care hospital. We serve the communities of Seminole and West Volusia County. At HCA Healthcare, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. We are a Level II Trauma Center. We provide the only full-service cardiovascular program. Our program offers open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology. Electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and comprehensive diagnostic services are also offered by this program. Other services that we provide include orthopedic and spine care, as well as robotic surgery. We offer acute inpatient medical rehabilitation and complete imaging services. Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a dynamic Medical Surgical RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. What you will do in this role: Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation Act as an advocate for patient safety. Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment. Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay. Requirements: Would prefer 1 year of Recent (within the last year or 2) RN ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE. However, would consider speaking with a candidate that has Acute REHAB ExperienceBehavioral Health/ Psych, Jail, SNF or LTC would not qualify Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred. BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required within 30 days from start NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date ACLS required within 6 months Additional Information: Who does this position report to?
