Journeyman MachinistJoin Jagemann's precision tool room as a Machinist specializing in grinding operations, where you'll operate advanced grinding equipment to achieve ultra-tight tolerances on critical tooling components. You'll be responsible for surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, and form grinding of precision tools that drive our production capabilities. This role demands expertise in wheel selection, dressing techniques, and maintaining sub-micron accuracy on hardened materials. Working in our temperature-controlled environment, you'll use measuring equipment to verify dimensional accuracy while managing grinding parameters to prevent heat distortion and maintain surface finish specifications. This position is second shift and can be 4-10s or 5-8s, depending on the candidates preference.
