From server and networking configurations, imaging, inventory management, through on-site implementation, our Operations Team is committed to providing unwavering support throughout the project. WEI has an exciting opportunity for a Production Assembler to join our Operations Department. Responsibilities : The Production Assembler supports the team and our retail customer for their Point-of-Sale refresh project by performing the following tasks: Producing components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies Reading and confirming the parts lists Mounting scanner brackets and payment terminal brackets to touch screen monitors Cable threading pole mount stands Attaching pole mount stands to touch screen monitors Scan and move materials physically and systematically Pick, pack and ship orders Use of Material Handling equipment Loading and unloading trucks Other related work as assigned by supervisor or Manager Operating hours - 8:30am-5:30pm (1 hour lunch) Monday - Friday. Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Mechanical skillset - dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate and assemble parts and components that are often small Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Experience interacting with cross functional teams including Manufacturing, Integration, Project Management, Inventory, Quality, Material Handling, and Logistics. Finds technology and innovation intriguing and likes to have fun while approaching work with passion and enthusiasm. Team player with the ability to work with others Strong ability to work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to effectively complete tasks Keeping the workspaces clean Commit to Safety - proactive within compliance of OSHA and NIOSH laws affecting associates.
