Apply online today!What We Offer Health insuranceDental and vision insuranceLife and disability insurance401K with matchVacation timePaid trainingOpportunities for advancement Job Responsibilities Perform multipoint inspectionsCommunicate additional service/repair needs to service advisorsCheck tire pressure and inspect fluid levelsLubricate moving parts with specified lubricantsInspect all vehicles for additional repairsAdhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conductEnsure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as neededDrain oil from crankcase and install a new oil drain plug and new oil filterUse power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks Qualifications Must meet dealership’s requirements for employmentAbility to read/comprehend written instructions and informationFamiliarity with general aspects of automotive repair/maintenanceMust have a valid Texas driver’s licensePrior experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice preferredEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (required) Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Occasional exposure to inclement weatherExerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objectsRequires a significant amount of walking and/or standing.This position may also require working at a production pace while pushing and/or pulling materials from place to place.
