Responsibilities Work setting is a pediatric hospital CVPICU Patient population includes pediatric cardiovascular and congenital heart disease cases Required skills include hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, central line care, PICC and arterial line management, CRRT, continuous sedation, IV vasopressors, pediatric dosage calculations, ventilator management, chest tube management, and airway care Preferred skills include ECMO, post-cardiac catheterization care, post-cardiac surgery care, ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD) management, central line blood draws, and HFNC Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) Floating is required and may include NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg units as needed Provide specialized cardiovascular nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients Candidates must not have been permanently employed by this facility within the past 2 years Local candidates are not eligible for this position Requirements Active OH or Compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience in a pediatric hospital — this is a hard stop requirement First-time travelers are welcome to apply Two supervisory references required for consideration; at least one must hold a manager or supervisor title Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-674661.
