ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK - FINANCE DEPARTMENT Lincoln Community Health Center, Inc., a federally qualified community health center located in Durham, NC is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk.Durham is known as the Bull City, the City of Medicine, the Tastiest Town in the South, and the Startup Capital of the South. It's a two-hour drive from the beach, a three-hour drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains, and is North Carolina's fourth largest city by population. Along the East Coast, Durham is located conveniently along I-85. POSITION SUMMARY: Perform general administrative tasks to support the activities in the Finance Department to include but not limited to: processing travel request, ordering functions of purchasing tasks, data entry functions through the accounts payable module of the fund accounting system. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Knowledge of standard office procedures and the ability to work effectively using computers and other office equipment is required. The ability to interpret and apply departmental policies and procedures to a variety of situations is required. The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers is required. Numerical acumen and ability to work with spreadsheets and other financial and statistical data is required. EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or University is strongly preferred. Graduation from High School supplemented by course work in Business or Accounting strongly recommended. EXPERIENCE: Work requires knowledge of general accounting principles. Accounts Payable experience preferred. Lincoln Community Health Center, Inc.
