Purpose A Facilities Maintenance position with TRC involves performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections on building systems and structures to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance. Responsibilities include fixing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues, coordinating with contractors, maintaining cleanliness, and documenting maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulations. Essential Functions • Repairs & Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency repairs on building systems such as electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). • Inspections & Troubleshooting: Conduct regular inspections of the facility and its equipment to identify potential issues or safety hazards and diagnose problems as they arise. • Preventative Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks on equipment and systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal operation. • Coordination: Work with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or tasks that are outside the scope of the in-house team. • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs and records of all maintenance work performed, including service requests, equipment status, and maintenance activities. • Facility Upkeep: Ensure the overall cleanliness, safety, and organization of interior and exterior spaces, including tasks like painting, cleaning, snow removal, and minor repairs to walls, floors, and furniture.
