About the job Carpenter Overview: Autonomy Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our clients team in the Seattle metro area. This role involves a range of construction and remodeling tasks, from framing to finish work, and offers long-term opportunities for growth with a respected local contractor. Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, trim, drywall backing, siding, doors, and window installation Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to project specifications Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans Ensure work is completed to quality standards and in compliance with local building codes Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites Collaborate with team members, site supervisors, and subcontractors as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of professional carpentry experience (framing and/or finish work) Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Reliable transportation and valid drivers license Must have standard PPE (hard hat, safety vest, work boots, etc.) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Punctual, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred: Experience in residential and/or commercial construction Own set of tools (strongly preferred) Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.
