Olsten Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking WoodBander to join our team. This position is responsible for securely strapping and banding packs of lumber to prepare them for storage and shipment. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with consistent hours. Job Responsibilities: Band and secure packs of lumber using industrial strapping equipment Ensure straps are tight, secure, and properly positioned Inspect bundles to confirm they are stable and ready for transport Assist with organizing and staging lumber as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Physical Requirements: Frequent kneeling and bending to secure strapping Ability to lift, push, and pull lumber materials Ability to stand for extended periods Comfortable working in a warehouse or outdoor lumber yard environment Qualifications: Previous warehouse or lumber yard experience preferred (not required) Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Team-oriented mindset This is a great opportunity for someone looking for steady hours and the chance to move into a permanent position.
