Estimator Commercial Landscape Construction

Teufel Landscape is a leading provider of commercial landscape construction, specializing in landscape installation, irrigation systems, pedestal pavers, planters, woodwork, amenity spaces, and green roofs. We're seeking a highly experienced and independent Estimator to join our team. This role demands exceptional technical expertise, leadership in managing high-value bids, and a strong command of estimating software and industry relationships.Key Responsibilities Independently perform accurate and timely take-offs using PlanSwift Takeoff softwareDemonstrate advanced proficiency in interpreting complex plans and specificationsManage large-scale and high-value bids from inception to final submission without oversightEstablish and maintain strategic relationships with vendors, General Contractors (GCs), and Landscape Architects (LAs)Develop precise material lists and pricing strategies using advanced mathematical equations relevant to landscape estimatingComplete estimate entries in Sage/Timberline confidently and without supervisionAttend and lead pre-bid meetings and site visits to ensure scope clarity and competitive pricingGuide operations teams throughout project lifecycles to support profitable buyouts and executionLead internal presentations of estimates to Business Developers and Branch Managers Qualifications 5+ years of experience in commercial landscape estimatingAdvanced knowledge of landscape construction, irrigation systems, and materialsExpert-level proficiency with estimating tools, including Sage/Timberline, PlanSwift, ProCore, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WordProven ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical specificationsStrong organizational and leadership skillsAbility to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlinesHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training is preferredSuccessful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen RequirementsConstruction Estimating: 5 years (Required)Commercial Landscaping: 5 years (Required)Benefits401(k) PlanHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffEmployee Referral Program
