15841BRDepartment Name:HSP Sane Location:Meriter Hospital Job Description: Shift: PM/Night shifts with every-other weekend rotationThe Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) is a registered nurse that has responsibility for the consistent, comprehensive, and compassionate care of the victim of sexual assault (all genders and ages) and adult/adolescent strangulation and physical/domestic abuse The FNE is responsible for providing comprehensive and compassionate care to the victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse. The FNE works independently via protocols and under the direction of the medical director of the program. If patients of sexual assault have additional medical injuries related to domestic abuse, strangulation, or any other medical complaint, an ES provider will be involved in the care of the patient.At UnityPoint Health, you matter.
