Pharmacy Floor TechnicianPay Rate: $20-$26/hour Shift Options (please indicate preferred shift on resume): Shift A: Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM-8:00 PM or 12:00 PM-8:30 PM, with rotating weekends (11:00 AM-7:30 PM). Weekday off provided during weeks with a weekend shift. Shift B: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-12:30 AM. Weekends not required, but may be considered based on business needs. Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required and/or expected. Position Summary The Pharmacy Floor Technician supports pharmacy operations by preparing prescription medications for final verification by a licensed pharmacist. This role is responsible for accurately filling, labeling, scanning, and packaging medications while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Accurately fill daily medication orders in a timely and efficient manner under pharmacist supervision Pick, pull, and prepare medications from shelving and prepack storage areas Label blister cards and scan products to ensure accuracy Notify the pharmacist of any medication or product that does not scan correctly Assist with processing returned medications, including recycling or disposal per established procedures Prepack frequently ordered medications during low-volume periods, including labeling and proper storage Package materials and products manually as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of designated workstation areas Replenish stock and supplies to ensure uninterrupted workflow Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA Adhere to departmental policies related to safety, attendance, and dress code Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Required) High School diploma or equivalent Ability to work at a moderate pace in a production-driven environment Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (must be maintained) Preferred Qualifications Previous pharmacy technician experience Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the workday Ability to sit or stand for 7-10 hours per shift, with potential for extended hours Manual dexterity to operate office and pharmacy equipment Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally Visual acuity to read fine print, including close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment Ability to hear and respond to normal conversational voice levels The physical and environmental demands described above are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
