Accts Receivable Clerk

Position Summary Position is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations and compliance with established policies and procedures. Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: Receives and verifies invoices and requisitions for goods and servicesProcesses cash receipts and handles credit balancesVerifies that transactions comply with financial policies and proceduresResponds to questions and makes calls regarding overdue bills and billing problemsPrepares, verifies, and processes invoices and codes payment documentsPrepares batches of invoices for data entryPerforms data entry of invoices for paymentProcesses backup reports after data entryMaintains and manages assigned listing of accountsMaintains updated vendor files and file numbersPrepares regular periodic and special accounting reportsOther duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications-Education/Experience Required:High school diploma or GEDAt least two to five years accounts receivable/collections experienceExcellent customer service skillsWork ethic must be flexible, adaptable and possess the ability to multitaskExcellent communication skillsMust be able to work individually and also as part of a teamProficient Microsoft Office software skillsPreferred:Experience with AS400 based (BosaNova) systems, QAD EB2, QAD EEExperience using Google for WorkSpanish language skills a plus Travel Requirements0% We consider all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, marital status, handicap, genetic infiltration, disability or status as a veteran.
