Job DutiesThe GIS Summer Worker will assist the Public Works department with tasks related to geographic information systems and mapping. Primary responsibilities include creating and updating GIS files, scanning documents and maps, and assisting with the replacement of 911 signs throughout the county. This position may also involve other related duties as assigned to support departmental projects and ensure accurate data management.Minimum Education RequiredThere is no formal education requirement for this position; however, college coursework or training in GIS, surveying, or a related field is preferred.Minimum Experience RequiredNo prior experience is required for this role, but previous experience with GIS or surveying activities is considered desirable.
