MRI/CT Technologist

Job description: Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour Job description: About the facility: We are an outpatient imaging center that strives to provide the highest quality of diagnostic imaging in a very patient oriented setting. Role: The role of the technologist is to obtain high quality, diagnostic images while providing exemplary quality service to patients. We are seeking an experienced technologist with knowledge of X-Ray, MRI and CT. Shift: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday 2-3 days per week, 8-10 hour days Closed all major holidays No on-call required Qualifications: ARRT(R)(CT) certified, preferred Minimum of one (1) year experience in CT/MRI operations and procedures is preferred Current knowledge of X-ray and CT theory and practice required BLS for Healthcare Providers required Must be proficient in all clinical skills related to CT and X-Ray Ability to start IVs for contrast administration Ability to interact and communicate efficiently with patients, families, guests, and all levels of employees Knowledge of how to perform basic CT and X-ray MSK and neurological exams Safely operate the scanner and injector to produce diagnostic quality CT and X- ray images Experience on a GE BrightSpeed 16 is preferred, but not required Experience with ACR accreditation is preferred, but not required Job Type: Part Time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical Specialty: Radiology Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Ability to Commute: Kansas City, MO 64111
