What You'll Do As a Corporate Development Analyst at Hadrian, you will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic acquisitions that accelerate our mission to transform American manufacturing. This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with senior leadership to shape the future of our company through M&A. Deal Sourcing & Market Intelligence Build and maintain a comprehensive database of acquisition targets across the aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing ecosystem Conduct proactive market mapping to identify strategic opportunities aligned with our technology roadmap and growth strategy Develop relationships with investment bankers, advisors, and industry executives to generate inbound deal flow Track competitive M&A activity and industry trends to inform our strategic positioning Financial Analysis & Modeling Build detailed financial models to evaluate acquisition targets, including DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, and accretion/dilution scenarios Conduct preliminary valuation analysis and develop investment thesis memos for leadership review Support due diligence workstreams including financial, operational, and commercial analysis Prepare board-level materials summarizing deal rationale, risks, and financial impact Deal Execution Support Coordinate cross-functional due diligence teams across finance, legal, product, and operations Manage data room setup and organization, ensuring all stakeholders have access to critical information Support negotiation processes by preparing analysis and scenario modeling as deal terms evolve Track deal timelines and key milestones to ensure efficient execution from LOI to close Integration Planning Partner with operations teams to develop Day 1 integration plans for acquired companies Support post-close value capture initiatives and track integration progress against key metrics Document lessons learned and contribute to the development of our M&A playbook Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field Expert-level proficiency in Excel and financial modeling Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and make recommendations Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing sectors Familiarity with manufacturing operations, supply chains, or industrial automation Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines Strong business judgment and strategic thinking capabilities Self-starter mentality with a bias for action and ownership What Sets You Apart Deep curiosity about how things are made and passion for American manufacturing Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality or rigor Comfort with ambiguity and ability to build processes from scratch Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across functions Excitement about contributing to national security and technological advancement Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
