Senior Quality Engineer TRB Technical Review Board Lead

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Industry: Medical Devices (Contact Lens / Eye Surgery devices strong advantage) We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer who will lead the Technical Review Board (TRB)a critical cross-functional forum responsible for evaluating technical, quality, and regulatory impacts of change management activities. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership presence, and the ability to guide discussions with a diverse group of SMEs across multiple engineering and quality functions. The ideal candidate has robust knowledge of Medical Device Quality Management Systems (QMS), Risk Management (ISO 14971), Design Controls, and Change Management processes, along with the confidence to challenge assumptions, raise concerns, and say no when necessary to protect product design intent, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Required Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Quality, or related field. - 6+ years of medical device quality engineering experience. - Strong knowledge of QMS, Change Management, Design Controls, and Risk Management. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional forums. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with contact lenses, ophthalmic devices, or eye-surgery products. - Knowledge of DHF, DMR, and technical documentation. - Experience in global or multi-site environments. - Prior TRB/CRB/ECO facilitation experience.
