GenerationEdJob title Temporary People Operations Administrative Assistant Program People Operations/Admin Reports to Chief People Officer General Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized People Operations Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our People Operations team during a transitional period. The primary focus of this role will be to assist with the accurate transfer of employee data from our previous HRIS system to ADP. The ideal candidate will also support a range of administrative HR tasks, including document filing, record maintenance, and general operational support. This temporary position is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately input and verify employee data during the migration from our former HRIS system to ADP Audit and reconcile data between systems to ensure consistency and correctness Organize and maintain digital and physical employee files in accordance with company and legal standards Assist with HR documentation, including personnel file creation, scanning, and document retention Support general People Operations tasks such as preparing reports or updating records Collaborate with the People Operations team to identify and correct data discrepancies Provide administrative support for special HR projects as needed Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR data with discretion Essential Qualifications Previous administrative or data entry experience; prior exposure to HR or People Operations preferred Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with ADP Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and file management Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or HR coursework is a plus Physical, Mental and /or Visual DemandsMust be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Must be able to bend and stoop. Must be able to walk extended periods throughout the day monitoring. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, color, peripheral depth and the ability to adjust focus.
