Avionics Technician Pay: $18-$24/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Location: North of Tulsa Area Job Type: Temp to Hire Job Order #: 122374 Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Avionics Technician to join a growing aerospace team north of Tulsa. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in avionics, electrical, or electronics engineering who want to build their career in aviation. Working under senior technicians, the Avionics Technician will gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting critical aircraft systems. Key Responsibilities Assist with installation, testing, and repair of avionics systems (navigation, communication, flight controls, etc.). Troubleshoot electrical and electronic components using diagnostic tools. Inspect wiring, harnesses, and avionics hardware to verify FAA/EASA compliance. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and inventory records. Support preventive maintenance and general service tasks. Participate in on-the-job training to expand skills. Follow all safety and quality assurance protocols. Qualifications Associate's degree or certification in Avionics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering (Bachelor's preferred). 0-2 years of experience (internships, apprenticeships, or entry-level roles welcome). Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Familiarity with wiring and basic circuit analysis. Skilled with multimeters, oscilloscopes, or related diagnostic tools. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills. Able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform tasks at heights. Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends. Preferred Skills Exposure to avionics platforms or accessories. Introductory knowledge of RF technologies or digital electronics. Certification in soldering or wiring. Strong communication skills. Why This Role?
